Workshops, hosted at Carclew
Kenyan artists Onyis Martin and Joanne Otieno, in collaboration with Sudanese Australian musician Gabriel Akon, delivered six workshops to South Australian school children. Awarded Best Male Artist at the South Australian Music Awards in 2017, Gabriel - aka DyspOra, delivered poetry workshops. Kenyan artists Onyis and Joanne delivered workshops using recycled materials to create art, masks and hats. Charcoal drawings was a separate workshop. 150 school children from all backgrounds and locations, we fortunate to experience the opportunity.
